George Toma has over 40 years of expertise in design, construction, and construction management. With 17 years at the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA), George left a profound mark on the city’s educational infra-structure. As Vice President of Construction Management and Operations, a role he held for eight years, he led a team of over 400 professionals, overseeing a monumental $25 billion capital plan and managing more than 7,000 projects.

Before his transformative work at NYCSCA, George spent eight years with MTA Bridges and Tunnels, managing high-stakes transportation projects that ensured the safety and functionality of New York’s vital infrastructure. His career spans both public and private sectors, granting him a well-rounded approach to large-scale project management.
