Mashiyat Ashraf is an award-winning architect who serves as QA/QC & Value Engineering for Velocity, managing the design and construction of large-scale projects in NYC. His extensive public work includes 22 years of design and management for multi-million dollar capital improvement projects for the NYC School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) and Newark Public Schools. His multi-disciplinary management experience includes: preparing master plans and feasibility studies for public projects; large-scale design- build projects; overseeing processes to safeguard the client interests and enhance project quality; developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) requirements and implementation plans for both in-house projects and consultant contracts.
