BRAVO celebrates the opening of ‘Webster’s Garden’ at PAL’s Webster Avenue Location in the Bronx

A few blocks from our offices at BRAVO the New York Knicks keep showing grit and skill as they chase an NBA Championship title on the court. Further uptown and off the court, we helped MSG’s Garden of Dreams and NBA Cares build something magical for the kids at the Police Athletic League‘s Webster Avenue location in the Bronx.

On Tuesday, we joined members of the NBA, Knicks family, the PAL team and others to dedicate ‘Webster’s Garden,’ with a ribbon cutting ceremony. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver welcomed a gymnasium full of kids and NBA fans of all ages. Knicks legends Marcus Camby, Latrell Sprewell, and Larry Johnson brought the extra excitement to the event.

We’re proud to have partnered with Garden of Dreams foundation to elevate PAL’s game room to create a state-of-the-art experience for the community. A large screen centered in a 28ft mural of ‘the World’s Most Famous Arena,’ where the Knicks are currently putting on a Championship run for the ages is a slam dunk that made everyone gasp in amazement. PAL and Knicks together is a winning combination of community and security where the kids can be creative and free to learn and be inspired.

Special thanks to PAL for their dedication to seeing the importance of creating after school spaces that promote the well-being of children, continuing education and community spirit. To see first hand the excitement of the kids exploring this transformed space for the first time reminds us the power of shared goals and community care. Let’s build together. Let’s go Knicks!
